TDoS and HotLab will collaborate on luxury cruise ships

“The collaborations between TDoS and HotLab will infuse the DNA of private luxury yacht design into cruise ships, making it easier to design super luxurious and efficient cruise ships,” explained Madelene Hall, CEO of Tillberg Design of Sweden. . “At the same time, our brand of yachts will benefit from the commercial knowledge that we have acquired thanks to decades of experience in the segment of cruise ships.”

HotLab joins TDoS and Italian naval design and architecture firm Thalia Marine under the Viken Group umbrella. It will retain its office and employees in Milan, Italy, with company founders Enrico Lumini and Antonio Romano remaining at the helm.

“The acquisition will allow TDoS to maintain its focus on cruise ships and large yachts while continuing to hone its expertise in large vessel back-of-house operations…” added TDoS Yacht Designer, Daniel Nerhagen. “We are well versed in the design and management of large projects and regularly coordinate with a variety of experts in multiple fields, from lighting to naval architecture, to ensure the best possible product for end users.
