Praj and Indian Oil Accelerate Transition to Cleaner Skies

Praj Industries Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to accelerate India’s transition to cleaner and greener energy sources by exploring sustainable aviation fuels, 1G and 2G ethanol, compressed biogas and related opportunities in the biofuels industry.
Exploring these green energy horizons will be crucial for India to achieve carbon neutrality by 2070.
This MoU will increase ATJ’s fuel production capacity and use in India, which in turn will help reduce emissions from the aircraft.
IndianOil and Praj will also work together to set up production facilities for biofuels, including CBG, biodiesel and ethanol.
