Agillic welcomes its ninth NGO organization, extending its local and international support to third sector clients
Press release, Copenhagen, August 30, 2021
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the public’s desire to help others remains constant, if not greater. A report from the Swedish Fundraising Association1 shows a sharp drop in corporate giving in 2020 – yet more than 60% of charities said public contributions have increased. The total level of donations remained the same as the previous year.
In unlocking these gifts, the role of marketing automation has been more important than ever over the past two years. To overcome restrictions and reach out to voluntary donors, more and more charities are turning to digital channels. According to a British Charities Aid Foundation November 2020 Survey,2 nearly half of UK charities (47%) had already changed the way they fundraise due to the pandemic, while just over half (53%) said they needed to switch to an approach fundraising more online because of the crisis.
Best customer experiences at the Danish Red Cross
For organizations that have already embraced digital tools, the benefits are clear. One example is the Danish Red Cross, which has been using Agillic for its fundraising communication since 2019. With Agillic’s flexible data model, it has built optimized communication flows and increased communication efficiency through text and email. According to Charlotte Albrechtsen Christensen, head of individual donations and fundraising at the Danish Red Cross:
“Agillic supports our strategic goal of building loyalty – and operationally, the platform enables us to be more efficient in our daily work.“
Fundraising for innovation at DanChurchAid
Another example is DanChurchAid, which has been using Agillic to reinvent its digital fundraising approach since 2019. Kenneth Andersen, Digital Project Manager at DanChurchAid, comments:
âFortunately, a lot of people want to support DanChurchAid. Part of our job is to make it as easy as possible for them to do this by contacting them through the appropriate channels. We also have an obligation to spend the funds given to us wisely, that is to say to work efficiently, so that as much of it as possible can be passed on to those in need. Continually innovating and rethinking our approach both in the field and in our fundraising and communication activities is one of our core values. And this is what we see on Agillic platform can help us do that – and in the process of selecting our new customer marketing platform, we discovered that there are a lot of qualified Agillic skills that can help us achieve our ambitions.
More money for the cause
For Agillic, NGOs and charities represent a priority industry with high potential. With our recent victory, there are now nine industry organizations on our client list, including DanChurchAid, Hjerteforeningen, Børn VilkÃ¥r and the Red Cross in Denmark and Sweden. For these clients, the benefits include personalized feeds to increase loyalty, a higher degree of efficiency in fundraising activities, and a seamless experience between proprietary and paid media. Simply put, Agillic’s NGOs and charitable clients use our platform to increase their donations and, therefore, their impact.
Emre Gürsoy, CEO of Agillic comments:
“Working with NGOs and the charitable industry is particularly meaningful and rewarding for us, and we are happy that more and more organizations are discovering the difference our software can make, especially in these times. Attracting and retaining loyal donors through respectful and personalized communication – and spending less on administration and more on the cause – are real benefits for our clients.
